The Chargers are one of the strongest teams in Madden. In the 08 version of madden, they boast a 95 overall, and they have the most Weapons in the entire game. While playing against their offense, one can see that nearly all the players are classified as weapons, and many are NFL Icons. One can quite easily say that the Chargers are, at the very least, one of the top teams of Madden.
